M. Shane Hoover, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Hoover joined the staff of Goldsboro Pediatrics in July 2008, having previously practiced medicine as a neonatologist in North Charleston, SC. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology as well as his doctorate degree in Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Hoover has participated in several research studies regarding pediatrics, and has also presented and spoken at several notable conferences. He was a presenter at the 31st Southeastern Conference on Perinatal Research, and was an invited speaker at both the Neonatal Pharmacology Conference and the Neonatal Medicine Conference. Dr. Hoover is certified in Neonatal Advanced Life Support and is certified in General Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
